The “orchestra” is now replaced with samples from Iraq of the on going war – AK47s and M16s replacing the violins and violas – and artillery and guided munitions the wood wind and brass. The percussion is replaced by a ‘drone’ the desert sky and distant military aircraft.

A piece in three movements parodying the music of the enlightenment – introduction – slow middle movement - final resolution (or not) in the third movement. Each movement was improvised using a Yamaha master keyboard an Akai sampler and Yamaha effects processor at a ‘concert’ performance in Norwich 6/11/04.
